Dropping by to say HI!

Hey! I don't know why I'm typing a blog entry at the moment when, a few minutes ago, I promised myself that I'd sleep early tonight so I'd be able to wake up early tomorrow. Oh well! This is me being spontaneous. 

I just want to post this to remind me that tonight I promised myself that I'd revive my blog. Since I haven't been travelling anymore and I'm just at home pretty much all.the.time, I decided to make random, personal entries instead. This time I'm making my blog as my online diary, literally. I still hope I'd miss writing on my journal though and do a quick jot one of these days.

March Favorites 2016

A brand new month calls for another batch of favorites. I know this one's a bit late but here's my list now. I'm so excited to post this because finally my search for the perfect skincare product is, at long last, over. Last month has been a really tough month for my skin, particularly my face. All of a sudden, I had dry and flaky skin and I couldn't pinpoint what caused it. I continued with my usual toner and day moisturizer, but decided to switch when I did not notice any change.

It's Fri-YAY again. Who doesn't love Fridays, right? Friday means staying up all night because you don't have to worry about waking up early the next day. Best feeling ever! So, I came up with another list of things that made me smile this week for my F10HT Volume 06.

January Favorites 2016

Well, hello there, lovelies. Before I officially start the love month, I would like to cap off my January by sharing the things that captured my heart. January has been pretty chill and it was the time of the year where I wanted new things for myself to (at least) make me feel a bit inspired. LOL! So, I'm sharing to you last month's favorites.

This is not my usual weekend since on Sundays I'm usually out and about with Neil. However, today we decided to do our individual errands. So, I think I'm just staying at home to * wait for it* procrastinate!

A lot has happened last December and I'm just so thankful that God never left us. We know he was there making us strong while we were trying to surpass one of the toughest moment of our lives.

Friday's 10 Happy Things // 02

Thank God it's Friday and I'm on my 10 happy things again. My second F10HT since I started last week. LOL! It always feels great listing down things that made me smile. Below is what I came up with:

Friday's 10 Happy Things // 01

Two years ago, I joined the famous #100HappyThings that circulated in Instagram. The mechanics were simply, just take a photo of what made you happy everyday for 100 days. I successfully made it 'til the 100th photo but then I stopped. I realized I should have continued because it made me see happiness even in the simplest form on a daily basis. 

2014: A year of For and Fours

A new chapter is here, and I'm talking about the Year 2015. But before I put down my own book of 2014, I would like to look back to an amazing year full of happy beginnings and unforgettable moments. So far, I consider this year as one of the best - yes, I'm owning it. LOL!

Achievement 101

I always believe in the quote "The best things come when you least expect them to." Expectations often lead to disappointments, so I try not to expect too much from anything. Hence, if the odds are in my favor, then I'm lucky. If they're not, then better luck next time. 

OOTD: Floral Dream

In less than a month summer will already end, yet I still haven't had a real encounter with the beach. I'm jealous (boo!) of people hitting the beach right now and making the most out of the summer heat.  What I just want is a peaceful time under the sun, by the shore, with a book in my hand and a soothing music on the background. I could easily do that if I'm in Davao, my lovely hometown, but I'm in Manila and beaches are hours away from the city. So, to get the summer-y feel even with the absence of the beach, I put on my favorite sundress instead.

OOTD: Fashion Passion

Hi there! You see I've just started blogging and now I think I'm getting addicted to it. Is that bad? I'm always giddy whenever a new idea of what to post next comes to mind. Haha! Apparently, along with my blogging endeavor is the courage to pursue fashion. So, I (re) joined Lookbook, a site where people from different parts of the globe get to post their #OOTD or whatnot. Here's my shot of trying to be seriously fashionable. LOL.

OOTD: Sunny Easter Sunday

You know I have this obsession for everything DIYs. In fact, if you check my phone I have these apps like We Heart It, Pinterest, and Trusper.  I visit them always before I start and end my day. Haha! Right now though, I'm getting more addicted to Trusper.

Trusper has DIYs photos and videos that addresses my concerns about beauty, fashion, and skin care.  Here's one cute idea I got from the app, a Do-It-Yourself midriff made from my pre-loved top.  I used my old Giordano tee as a tester, and luckily it turned out just the way I wanted. Yey!

Driving 101

It has been two months since I started driving without a company -- my father. During my first month, I was just roaming around the camp where I currently live.  I feel totally safe inside because the roads are wide and there are only a few vehicles.  Then, my father pushed me to drive outside of my comfort zone; that was when I started gaining courage to drive alone in the big city of buses and PUVs (public utility vehicle).

It's not a joke driving around the metro, especially in EDSA! Don't get me wrong, I braved EDSA two years ago, but with a driving instructor.  LOL. Yes, I already kind-of-know how to drive after I graduated from college.  However, I never really tried driving alone until the time came that I just have to do it because my father was leaving for Cebu due to work. So, I'm left dealing with the errands, which also means learning to drive all by myself.
